Destiny Pitts has been a member of HAULYP since August 2015. She serves in the Community Outreach Committee (COC), Professional Development Committee, and the Public Relations & Marketing Committee. Destiny participated in COC’s Break Hunger and has volunteered to serve as a Workshop Aide for the upcoming Young Professionals University Fall 2015. She has also volunteered to assist with marketing activities for HAULYP’s 4th quarter giving campaign.

Destiny is originally from Wichita Falls, TX and she has a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Houston. After graduating from the Art Institute in June 2013, she began her career as a live sound engineer working at various venues, including Warehouse Live, Bayou Music Center and McGonigel’s Mucky Duck. In November 2014 she shifted her focus from live sound to take on a position at Wire Road Studios as a Studio Coordinator/Recording Engineer.

What do you value about HAULYP?

I value the fact that I’m able to serve my community while developing myself as a young professional. As a new member,  I also appreciate the warm welcome that I’ve received from the various committees that I’ve joined.
