Nicholas Little has been a member of HAULYP since this past September. He was a current member on the Executive Board of the Urban League of Central Carolinas in Charlotte, North Carolina prior to his arrival here. In 2008, Nicholas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland where he was also commissioned a naval officer. He would later on in 2008 attend the United States Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island and become certified in Strategical Warfare and Logistics, National Security Command Structure, and Warfare Analysis and Research. Nicholas also attended Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina and earned an Associate of Science in Political Science. Nicholas also served in the United States Navy leaving the service honorably as a Lieutenant. Nicholas currently works for the federal government as a Regional Division Director for a federal agency that combats human trafficking in Houston, Galveston, and San Antonio.
Nicholas is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and serves as a member of Civitan International, Optimist International, Young Democrats of America, U.S. Graduate Retention Council, POLARIS, National Black Justice Council, and the NAACP. He is devoted to his core values, family, friends, and his country. He enjoys volunteering, mentoring, writing, and singing karaoke. As a member of HAULYP, it is his hope that the consistent service of this general body to our community will continue to bring hope to situations that may seem hopeless, and strength to those who need it most to endure the world’s adversities.
