My name is Goldie Offiah and I have been a member of HAULYP since June 2015. I am apart of the Community Outreach Committee and have participated as a Transition Leader in the last three sessions of YPU and also volunteered with Bread of Life, Mia’s Closet Back to School Drive, MLK Clean Up and other activities hosted by the organization.
My family is originally from Nigeria, but I was born and raised in Southwest Houston, TX. I graduated from Texas State University in May 2014 and I am currently pursuing my MBA with an HR Concentration from the University of Houston-Downtown. I am currently employed as a Human Resource Representative with AIG. Outside of my involvement with HAULYP, you may find me attending various concerts, linking up with friends or watching some form or Reality Television.
What I value most about HAULYP is being apart of an organization that is dedicated to giving back to the community. I admire the passion, dedication, and hard work that the leaders and members put in to make this organization successful……Not to mention the great friendships that I have developed as well.
