Dr. Jamie Hardy is a native of Raleigh, NC where she grew up with her 2 beautiful sisters and loving parents Drs. James and Felecia Hardy. As a child playing in her father’s dental office she was able to see first hand the impact that a new smile could make on a person’s life. It was then that Dr. Hardy began dedicating her life to helping other’s one smile at a time. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Hampton University in 2009, Dr. Hardy continued to obtain her Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. During her dental school career she completed an international mission trip in Jacmel, Haiti where she treated children and adults with limited access to oral healthcare. Since the initial experience in Haiti she has continued to provide free dental services to the community through numerous volunteer organizations. Developing a love for treating children, she decided to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in NY. She is currently practicing as a Pedodontist in both League City and Pearland, TX. In addition to practicing dentistry , she loves to work with the young ladies in the non-profit organization, Chosen Destiny Inc. where she is a founding Board Member along with her best friend and organization president Ms. Ashlee Stewart.
Since her move to Houston in July 2016, Dr. Hardy has completed another mission trip in Antigua, Guatemala. Her passion to give back and volunteer is the main reason that Dr. Hardy joined HAULYP in September 2016. She is currently a member of the Social and Cultural committee and Community Outreach Committee. “Meeting and interacting with other young professionals has enhanced my experience in Houston thus far” In the future Dr. Hardy hopes to increase the health awareness in HAULYP and the Houston community as a whole. She would also like to complete more mission trips with other various healthcare providers. When relaxing she enjoys outdoor activities with her dog Fefe, brunching with friends and family, reading a good book and watching scary movies.
